課程概述

This course is designed for physical therapists who are interested in learning and teaching. The contents of this course encompass theories and techniques for learning and teaching used in academic and clinical settings. The instructor will strive to inspire participating students to reflect from their own experiences in learning and teaching, to learn from evidence-based literatures, to learn-from-doing, and to transform into a professional physical therapy educator. 

課程目標
At the end of this course, each student should be able to:

1. Reflect on own experience and cultivate a compassionate and caring learning and teaching environment for their audiences.
2. Design, conduct and assess a single course in either an academic or a clinical setting based on best available evidences in the learning and teaching literature.
3. Proficient in collaborative interprofessional education.
4. Demonstrate innovative designs in teaching and learning using available resources, including both traditional and current educational technologies.
5. Compare the similarities and differences of physical therapy education locally and globally, hence promote the excellence in physical therapy education.
 
課程要求
In class discussion and presentation: 30% (assess domains: compassionate and caring; innovative design; evidences in learning and teaching)
Website online materials: 20% (assess domains: evidences in learning and teaching, collaborative interprofessional education)
Final project report: 50%(verbal 20%;written 30%; written report 頁數不限,但須為poster 以外之可發表型式,報告內需註明擬發表目標刊物與預定投稿日期)(assess domains: evidences in learning and teaching, innovative design, global view)
